Instructions: 1. Spend up to 10 minutes in the Habitat and have each child collect 5 leaves.The flatter the better. 2. Go to the pavilion to make leaf rubbings. 3. On a piece of plain white paper, children position leaves vein side up in a pattern they like. 4. Lay another sheet of plain white paper over the top of the leaves. 5. Turn a crayon on its side and gently rub over the top sheet of paper. Use more than one color for great designs. 6. Older children may label the parts of their leaves using the diagram provided.
